Introducing the New
Eyegaze Edge Pack!!

The Eyegaze Edge System pack provides eye tracking for people with very little head movement.The technology of The Eyegaze System, is a hands-off, unobtrusive, remote human-computer interface that can be used to track a user's gazepoint or It operates very quickly for people with very little head movement. This is the first major revision of the Eyegaze in the past seven years. The system now is very tiny, and sells for a much lower price. The price is about half of what it used to be. The performance is as good or better than our "blue box" system, and it can be configured many ways.

Tiny, powerful, assistive technology
at a new, low price!

We're offering the system right now using the MAC mini (loaded with WIN XP) which is tiny and powerful, but you can build it around a one-piece pc or a tablet. We're calling that option the Edge Pack. Basically the configuration is up to you. The Edge Pack is a firewire camera and monitor mount, and software to install on a PC. You can run it on your laptop, although that's probably not the best configuration for someone who's reclining, and it’s been tested on a panel pc and a desktop.

The Edge Pack is $7700. It includes the camera, camera mounting bracket, and software. It doesn't include the computer, monitor, monitor arm or keyboard. The monitor arm is available separately for an additional $234.

The key requirements for an Edge computer are:
1.6 Hz processor
1 GB memory
a 6-pin powered firewire port (or a 4-pin 1394 port with a powered 4-pin to 6-pin convertor)
a serial port(s) for computer access and X-10. The MAC mini does not have a serial port, so we're using a USB-to-serial adaptor.
WIN 2000, XP or Vista OS
13 to 17 inch monitor with built-in speakers and a 75 or 100 mm VESA bolt pattern.
